So far I have made it through my first week of sophomore year of college.
This semester I am taking a total of five classes, which seems to be a little overwhelming, but I'm pretty sure if I work hard I will be able to handle it. I was a little nervous for my second college writing class since I am not a very good writer, or at least I think so. But after going to this class this first week was actually pretty interesting. We are encouraged to write or post things on a blog, which I have never done, so please bare with me. :) Looking through this syllabus, this course is not easy. I believe I will have to work hard to receive a good grade. The syllabus talks about how we are going to improve our rhetorical knowledge and skills. I am glad we are going to be working on that, I know that is a skill that will benefit me in the future. Also, a few times the syllabus repeats "write early; revise often". I'm glad it does because I always tend to write papers early, but not revise and edit it a lot. So seeing this I know to keep editing it until it is at its best. Overall, as long as I try my best, show up everyday, and be engaged in the material, I will not fall behind in this class nor fail this course.
