Actions performed via the internet in support of political or social cause with little time involved. Showing support through internet.
In my college writing class, we discussed and created our own definition of Slacktivism.
My group came up with this definition:
Feeling "Good Feeling" without doing anything
Quick and easy way access
Least amount of effort participating
Sometimes pointless activity
We also discussed how it relates to twitter and other social medias.
With how anyone can like, share, favorite, and also comment on it.
