Summary Writing Reflective

Reflection of Summary Writing

During these past few weeks, my college writing two class has discussed what is summary writing.  I have learned new and important things about summaries. Mainly, summaries, in my definition, are short described gists of a topic. It includes the setting, plot, characters, and most importantly the theme. Summaries should only include the main points, not a lot of details, and use less information. A summary can be about anything, but should basically just be an overview of the subject. More importantly the reader should show the main points of their summary.
